How does community work get done?

Everyone is expected to do community work, but how each of us makes that contribution is completely up to us. We have no work quotas.
We have teams that are responsible for the various elements of our community. Much of the work gets done by members of these teams or the team may invite members to a Saturday Work Party to tackle some project, like trail building.
Here’s a listing of our teams and a brief description of what they are responsible for:
- Steering: overall planning and oversight
- Land Stewardship: all common land and landscaping, except for pasture and gardens
- Pasture and Agriculture: pasture and tractor
- Common House: common house and yurt
- Common Facilities: water system, roads, septic system, workshop, garden carts, hot tub, tennis court, garbage collection, recycling, etc.
- Process & Communication: communications, decision making, and conflict resolution
- Membership: membership process, prospective members, and visitors
- Celebration: parties and various community events
- Finance: HOA finances, insurance, and legal issues
- Garden & Greenhouse: greenhouse, hen house, and community garden
- Design Review: compliance with architectural standards
