Work Contribution

All members (including minors) are expected to do their fair share of work towards the betterment of our community. Everyone is free to choose work consistent with their abilities, interests, and schedule, but generally speaking the work contributions listed below are what we need to keep Heartwood thriving. So if you don't contribute in one of the ways listed, please make up for it with some other work contribution.
All adult members are strongly encouraged to:
- Participate on at least one team.
- If they eat common meals, cook at least once or clean up at least twice per month.
- Participate in at least 6 work parties per year.
- Sign up as a Heartwood Host for at least one two week time slot per year.
All teenagers are strongly encouraged to:
- Participate on at least one team.
- If they eat common meals, cook at least once or clean up at least twice per month.
- Participate in at least 4 work parties per year.
All kids between toddler and teenager are strongly encouraged to:
- If they eat common meals, help with set up or clean up at least once per month.
- Participate in at least 2 work parties per year.
