Cleaning
Each adult in the community is expected to cook once per month or clean up twice per month unless you never eat common meals.
Check the clean-up checklist posted near the sink after cleaning for each meal.
The checklist includes:
- Sweeping the kitchen and the dining room
- Wiping down tables
- Putting the compost near the back door
- Taking out the garbage
Eating
Kids are considered adults when they reach the age of 13. This means they pay the adult price and cook or clean up once per month.
They also can go through the line without an adult.
When a child turns 3 they are expected to pay the kid’s price.
Kids younger than 13 should go through the line with their parents or other adult that can help them.
If you forget to sign up for a meal and there is already a yellow line through the date, please check with the people cooking that night to see if you can add on.
Kids and adults are expected to stand quietly and be respectful during the circle time.
