Core Agreements

PicturePedestrian pathways are safe for kids and pets. They can also be used by vehicles for deliveries and in case of emergency.

Heartwood's Core Agreements are like our community constitution. They provide the foundation for all of our personal, interpersonal, and group decisions and actions. The Core Agreements are:

          • Vision & Values
          • Interpersonal Agreements
          • Core Identity

We read our Vision & Values and Interpersonal Agreements before each Community Meeting in order to set the stage for wise council. We reference our Core Identity agreement when we're embarking on new community projects. And we look to all of our Core Agreements for guidance and inspiration in co-creating our life together in community.

Each new member of the community studies and agrees to abide by our Core Agreements as part of our Membership process. If these agreements resonate with you, Heartwood may be a good community fit.

To see all of our community agreements, see our Agreements, Guidelines, & Resources page.
