Greenhouse
The guidelines for who can grow and harvest in the greenhouse, the raised beds, and the big garden in the pasture tend to change from year to year so it’s best to check with someone one the Garden & Greenhouse team if you if you want to do some gardening or harvesting.
Chickens
Next to the greenhouse is the hen palace where several dozen hens live to provide eggs for the members of the chicken group. The chickens are managed by a private group of members; they are not community chickens. Each member of the chicken group is responsible for one day a week of caring for the chickens and in return gets all of the eggs for that day. The chicken group also pays all costs associated with raising the chickens. If you would be interested in joining the chicken group when a day becomes available, get in touch with a member of the chicken group.
