Like all of our Phase 2 homes, the Juniper includes a large front porch for socializing, featuring a vaulted ceiling with a beam truss for a spacious and rustic feel. Large windows on the south wall let in warm winter sun. The roof overhang keeps out the summer sun.
The back patio is set into a notch creating extra privacy and a cozy feel. Vaulted ceilings allow room for larger doors and windows. This 8' tall sliding glass door gives easy access from the backyard and back patio to the living room.
The Juniper has only one level so there are no stairs to climb, making it ideal for aging in place. It is our most ADA friendly model, featuring full 3' wide doors to all rooms. The main level has many great features that make the Juniper highly functional and comfortable. The kitchen is laid out for efficiency with a small work triangle, 42" upper cabinets for extra storage, and an island counter for seating and serving flexibility (revised since this artist rendering was created). The open floor plan features a 33' great room for a spacious feel. The owner bedroom offers extra privacy in the rear of the home and is big enough for a king bed. It has two closets plus one more closet in the bathroom, for a total of over 16 linear feet of closet space. The large bathroom has direct access from both bedrooms and the common space. The front bedroom would make a lovely office or studio and features a large window for connection to the community.

View from the living room, through the dining room, and into the kitchen. Large windows on the south wall bring in warmth and sunshine. There's a vaulted ceiling over the living room. The dropped ceiling over the dining room, kitchen, and front bedroom provide 200sf of extra storage space in the attic, with 6' of headroom. The attic is accessed by a dropdown ladder in the hallway, which is to the right and not visible in this image.
