Private Use of Community Resources Compensation Guidelines

These guidelines only cover long term dedicated (pasture animals), commercial, and consumptive uses.  There are no compensation guidelines for any other uses, but donations are always welcome. Note that when fees are charged, they only cover expenses; the HOA does not make any profit from fees collected.

Common House
  • Common Meals:  $6.00 for adults, $2.50 for kids fee
  • Laundry – Washer:  $0.50 per load fee
  • Laundry – Dryer:  $1 per load fee
  • Guest Rooms (members and their guests):  no fee required, but donations welcome
  • Guest Rooms (visitors):  $30 per room per night suggested donation
  • Any or all of the other common house rooms or the yurt (commercial, non-member beneficiaries):  $2 – $10 per hour suggested donation
Higher end of scale if:
  • more non-member beneficiaries present
  • person making profit is a non-member
  • more common house resources used
Lower end of scale if:
  • fewer non-member beneficiaries present
  • person making profit is a member
  • fewer common house resources used


Common Facilities
  • Workshop (commercial, member user, non-member customers):  $2 per hour fee
  • Workshop (commercial, non-member user, non-member customers):  $2 – $5 per hour fee
Higher end of scale if:
  • more workshop resources used
Lower end of scale if:
  • fewer workshop resources used


Pasture & Ag
  • Pastured Animal (non-commercial, member):  $150 per animal one-time fee plus 10 hours pasture labor (not working with animals) per year
  • If unable to fulfill labor requirement, then $125 per animal per year fee.
  • If user has 10 or more animals, if user is a non-member, or if user raises crops, labor requirement and/or fee to be negotiated with team.
